Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, offering assistance through various channels including in-person, phone, and email.
2. Accurately collect payments related to property taxes, fines, and fees, issuing receipts and ensuring compliance with all financial protocols.
3. Process and verify electronic and physical receipts, maintaining precise records for audit purposes.
4. Manage cashiering operations, including opening, closing, and balancing tills, as well as preparing daily deposits with a high level of accuracy.

Treasurer's Office Duties:
Assist the public with inquiries related to financial transactions, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided. Handle the processing of deeds of trust and legal documents, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.

Clerk and Recorder Office Duties:
Perform clerical and administrative tasks related to vehicle titles, registrations, and elections. Review and process documents for compliance with state regulations, assist in voter registration, and support election activities under supervision.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required, with at least one year of relevant experience in cashiering, accounting, or a related field. Proficiency in general office procedures and basic computer skills is essential.

Skills and Abilities:
1. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
2. Ability to perform detailed work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
3. Capable of establishing effective working relationships with diverse individuals.
