Job Summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction field management activities for substation and transmission lines projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the performance of all aspects of construction field management activities for substation and transmission lines projects.
  • Work effectively with project managers, engineering, scheduling, contract administration, and other transmission business managers to ensure the safe and timely completion of work meeting Eversource's quality standards.
  • Manage all aspects of the construction phase of projects relative to cost, productivity, schedule, best practices, and Eversource policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental programs, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Direct efforts to achieve world-class excellence regarding safe work practices and safety performance.
  • Promote teamwork among and between all members of the transmission and distribution organizations in your jurisdiction and other internal groups.
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of transmission construction.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable work practices and procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Possess a detailed knowledge of transmission power system operations, maintenance, and construction.
  • Good human resource management and business planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of information technology and the use of Eversource's office automation and information systems.
  • Good written and oral communications ability.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or the equivalent.
  • A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of construction, maintenance, or related experience.
  • Experience in Energy Delivery and transmission experience is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience of both non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit employees is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Eversource Energy offers a competitive total rewards program. The salary range for this position starts at $122,620 - $136,260 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience.
