Job Overview

Construx Co LLC is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee and manage our construction projects. As a well-established General Contractor and Construction Manager, we specialize in a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, retail, and office spaces.

The Construction Operations Supervisor will be accountable for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and adhere to all specified plans, codes, and regulations. This role requires the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, while also ensuring that all work is performed within the designated timeframes. The Supervisor will coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and addressing any conflicts or changes in plans through effective communication with the project team, including architects, engineers, and owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to meet project timelines.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of work.
  • Facilitate communication regarding Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders, and Material Submittals.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to their contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate necessary inspections with local authorities.
  • Identify and address any safety, health, and environmental compliance issues.
  • Resolve conflicts in construction progress by liaising with the project team.
  • Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Ensure that all identified deficiencies are rectified by subcontractors.
  • Lead weekly meetings with subcontractors to align on project progress.
  • Issue notices for non-compliance regarding quality and scheduling to subcontractors.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with the construction project.
  • Conduct job progress assessments and complete punch lists.
  • Prepare reports on job status for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform supervisory duties across multiple job sites concurrently.
  • Manage site access and security at the beginning and end of each workday.
