Position Overview

AECOM is actively seeking a qualified CEI Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold FDOT Advanced MOT certification.
  • Obtain CTQP Quality Control Manager certification (pass the examination).
  • Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Oversee a complex construction engineering administration and inspection program.
  • Plan and organize the work of subordinate staff members.
  • Develop and review policies, methods, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure programs conform to Department standards.
  • Perform advanced engineering duties with minimal supervision.
  • Lead a team of engineers and professional support staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to project nature.
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six years of engineering experience, with two years in transportation projects.
  • A Master's degree in engineering may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida.
