Position Overview:

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing project execution, ensuring leadership, profitability, and effective client relations for the design team. Key responsibilities encompass project oversight, financial performance management, crafting technical proposals and invoices, budget monitoring, staff supervision, and scheduling of significant projects. The Project Manager will utilize Autocad and collaborate with existing office personnel and senior management to achieve project goals within set budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design for Land Development, including Stormwater Management, Water and Sanitary Sewer systems, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control.
  • Oversee multiple projects while managing competing deadlines.
  • Ensure Quality Control across all projects.
  • Facilitate regulatory agency permitting processes.
  • Prepare proposals including scope and budget considerations.
  • Manage financial aspects, including invoice generation and accounts receivable.
  • Schedule project timelines effectively.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.
  • Undertake additional project-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Land Development Design for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
  • Familiarity with local land use regulations and processes.
  • Proficient in technical aspects of stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading, and other site development designs.
  • Experience with Civil 3D and ICPR software is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and judgment skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in construction oversight is advantageous.
  • Organized, responsive, and dedicated.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
