Job Title: Route Sales Representative Driver

Job Summary:

Aramark Uniform Services is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative Driver to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and promoting overall route growth to enhance profitability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Safely operate a company step van in designated areas to provide products and services to various clients.
  2. Verify daily preventative maintenance of the vehicle and maintain proper operator documentation.
  3. Manage daily routes independently to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  4. Load and unload products according to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  5. Review invoices daily for complete and accurate information and make corrections as needed.
  6. Meet sales goals and promote overall route growth to enhance profitability.
  7. Develop leads and prospects, call on prospective customers to solicit business, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
  8. Assist the sales organization with the procurement of additional new business.
  9. Possess a strong understanding of services, policies, and pricing methods and can clearly communicate these to customers.
  10. Monitor customer feedback and handle customer issues in a prompt and courteous manner.
  11. Take responsibility for personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.

Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Have a valid driver's license with three years of driving experience.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
  • Strong math and basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.

Working Environment:

Working conditions may include exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions, fast-paced environments, and irregular and long hours. Physical requirements include the ability to routinely lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from the truck without assistance.

Education:

High school degree or equivalent.

License Requirements/Certifications:

Valid driver's license.
