Job Title: Intake Coordinator

Palmetto Infusion is seeking a highly skilled Intake Coordinator to join our team in West Columbia, SC. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth intake process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter new patient demographics and insurance information into our electronic medical record system, CPR+
  • Scan and tag initial paperwork into patient medical records
  • Send initial plans of treatment to referral sources, as applicable
  • Notify clinical and insurance case managers of pending referrals
  • Coordinate with reimbursement to check for outstanding balances
  • Obtain referring MD notes for insurance authorizations
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an active RN or LPN license
  • 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent internal and external customer service skills
