Position Overview

This temporary role involves providing essential support within a leading global investment firm. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site five days a week.

Our client is a prominent investment management firm based in New York City, recognized for its proficiency in investment strategies, risk management, and advisory services tailored for both institutional and retail clients. The firm oversees substantial assets and offers a diverse array of financial products, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key resource for portfolio managers, facilitating requests related to cash management, account restrictions, allocation adjustments, information archiving, and performance reporting.
  • Assist in the transition of accounts to the firm's investment platforms.
  • Foster strong professional relationships across various departments, including portfolio management, sales, operations, and trading.
  • Oversee portfolio exception and compliance reports to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in individual accounts to enhance client satisfaction and mitigate operational risks.
  • Address inquiries from financial advisers, ensuring a professional investment experience and efficient resolution of account issues.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client files and notes to capture all critical information.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure proper onboarding and billing of accounts, while verifying fee accuracy.
Candidate Profile
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Proficient in technology, particularly Excel, Python, and SQL.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A demonstrated interest in global financial markets.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative team setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with financial advisers, clients, and various internal teams.
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
