Position Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating potential business transactions and providing analytical support for various financial initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in developing financial models, conducting strategic research, and preparing presentations for senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and support M&A transactions, strategic projects, and venture capital investments.
2. Create and maintain complex financial models to facilitate investment decision-making.
3. Collaborate with various departments to forecast profit and loss, cash flows, and balance sheets for potential acquisitions.
4. Monitor the competitive landscape and communicate insights to management.
5. Assist in determining key value drivers for corporate valuation and evaluate financial structures for transactions.
6. Prepare recommendations for senior management and coordinate due diligence processes.
7. Generate reports summarizing the performance of strategic investments and venture capital portfolios.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial modeling or business analysis.
- Strong interest in corporate finance and the energy sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Skills:
- An MBA or master's degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
