About the Role

Broad River Retail is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Capital Department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring recruiting strategies to attract top talent for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future job openings, ensuring a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Sourcing Strategies: Lead all sourcing strategies, including external partnerships with colleges, universities, job boards, and other sources to identify high-potential candidates.
  • Employer Branding: Develop and implement online and offline employer branding activities to promote Broad River Retail as an Employer of Choice.
  • Recruitment Budget Management: Prepare and review the annual recruitment budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Candidate Experience: Oversee all stages of the candidate experience, including application, interviews, and communication, to ensure a positive and seamless experience.
  • Hiring Forecasting: Forecast hiring needs based on business and talent growth plans, ensuring timely and efficient filling of positions.
  • Recruiter Management: Manage, train, and evaluate recruiters at all experience levels, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to succeed.
  • Recruitment Events: Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness about Broad River Retail and attract top talent.
  • Talent Network Development: Develop a network of potential future hires, including past applicants and referred candidates.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Work with data analytics to create and manage comprehensive measurements and metrics to track and highlight Broad River Retail's recruitment results.
  • Key Performance Indicators: Measure key recruitment metrics, such as source of hire and time-to-hire, and communicate key findings to senior leaders.
  • Position Filling: Ensure positions are filled timely, efficiently, and effectively, meeting business needs.
  • Workforce Planning: Partner with Human Capital and Business Departmental Partners to determine Broad River Retail's future state hiring needs.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop, manage, and enhance Broad River Retail's recruiting process, policies, and procedures to attract and retain top talent.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, communicate, and address impact, risks, and opportunities, and determine alternative ways to empower leaders to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Brand Promotion: Build upon existing strategic plans, vendor relationships, and tools to promote Broad River Retail's brand and attract top talent.
  • Collaboration: Serve as a co-collaborator with Broad River Retail's HC/Talent Leaders during the Annual Talent Planning process, participating in Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Challenge sessions.
  • Unconscious Bias Hiring: Liaise closely with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to entrench effective unconscious bias hiring practices through learnings and training.
  • Brand Ambassador: Sponsor all initiatives connecting Broad River Retail's recruitment strategy and outcomes with the company's brand promise, guiding principles, and inclusive culture.
  • Best Practices: Champion best practices, stay abreast of Talent Acquisition trends, and be a brand ambassador for Broad River Retail to support attracting best-in-class talent.
  • Community Engagement: Play an active role in the community, identifying and building relationships and partnerships that enable Broad River Retail to make a difference throughout the communities we serve.
Requirements
  • Education: BA or BS in business-related or human resource studies, with postgraduate qualifications highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in Human Resources or Recruitment/Recruitment Marketing.
  • Cognitive Skills: Strong cognitive skills required, including the ability to learn quickly, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, and be highly productive without needing much supervision.
  • Corporate Recruitment Experience: Corporate and/or Field Recruitment experience required.
  • Vendor Management: Vendor management know-how is essential.

  • Communication and Influence: Must be able to listen and influence with empathy and inspire others to be the difference.
  • Project Management: Practical knowledge in project/program management.
