Regional HR Business Consultant

Job Overview
The Regional HR Business Consultant plays a pivotal role in facilitating employee and facility management in alignment with Discovery Behavioral Health's established protocols. This position is integral to the mission and objectives of Discovery Behavioral Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver strategic and operational HR guidance to facilities within the designated geographic area.
- Collaborate with Facility and Divisional Leadership to enhance employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Assist in formulating tailored facility plans aimed at minimizing turnover while tracking progress towards retention objectives.
- Evaluate HR initiatives and assess their return on investment (ROI) to bolster business strategies.
- Provide comprehensive, in-person support in employee relations, talent management, and cultural enhancement.
- Analyze data to propose solutions for HR-related challenges, including turnover rates, coaching requirements, and overall employee satisfaction.
- Offer daily performance management support and advice to facility leaders.
- Educate facility management on HR matters and potential legal implications.
- Partner with facility leaders across all HR domains, including compensation, benefits, and talent acquisition, to mitigate risks.
- Conduct investigations into employee-related claims, ensuring fair resolutions in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure that DBH values and objectives are consistently reflected within the facilities.
- Communicate HR policies regarding compensation and benefits to both employees and management.
- Conduct exit interviews as necessary.
- Address employee grievances effectively.
- Respond to HR inquiries promptly, typically within 24 hours.
- Update employee records related to transfers, pay adjustments, and promotions.
- Guide management in identifying workplace issues and resolving problems that may require disciplinary actions or terminations.
Facilitation and Training:
- Facilitate discussions to resolve issues between management and staff, referring complex or legally sensitive matters to the Director of Employee Experience & Engagement or VP of HR.
- Consult and advise management to ensure adherence to state regulations and Joint Commission standards.
- Provide training for both existing and new facility leaders on HR policies, procedures, and HRIS systems.
- Travel is required at least quarterly to visit assigned facilities.
