Key Responsibilities
  • Offer guidance and support to supervisors on the application of company policies and address operational HR needs.
  • Collaborate with management to address employee relations challenges, conducting investigations and facilitating resolutions.
  • Engage effectively with all team members, embracing diverse perspectives, fostering shared accountability, and promoting a culture of respect and integrity.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, assess organizational health, and partner with leadership to devise strategies for improvement.
  • Advise on employment-related matters, including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, and diversity, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Facilitate HR processes to maintain ethical and consistent practices across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee relations and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist in the creation and management of programs aimed at employee and organizational development.
  • Provide support in conflict resolution and communication facilitation to enhance employee engagement.
  • Contribute to recruitment efforts and participate in activities aimed at filling open positions within the designated area.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings and assist with onboarding processes as necessary.
  • Support the performance management process by coaching and providing constructive feedback to supervisors.
  • Assist with safety programs and initiatives, including return-to-work and workers' compensation coordination.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required (consideration will be given to relevant experience).
  • 2-3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • HR certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and HRIS systems, including ADP or similar platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, relationship-building skills, and effective communication capabilities.
  • Highly organized and proactive in addressing issues.
  • Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience, with a range of $64,000 to $80,000.
