Executive Chef Assistant

Nami Nori is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Montclair, New Jersey. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in food production, coaching and training, ordering and inventory management, and maintaining department of health standards and compliance with all regulations.
Responsibilities- Support the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations
- Coach and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Manage ordering and inventory to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain department of health standards and compliance with all regulations
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
