Propósito/Síntesis:

El individuo formará parte del equipo de operaciones financieras de la Compañía. Esta posición implica apoyar a la organización a través de informes financieros, elaboración de presupuestos, contabilidad de costos, supervisión de precios para respuestas a propuestas y otros análisis financieros según sea necesario.

Responsabilidades Clave:

  • Informes internos y externos según se requiera para satisfacer las necesidades del negocio y cumplir con los requisitos contractuales.
  • Preparar y asistir en los requisitos del presupuesto anual y pronósticos continuos.
  • Proyectos ad hoc según se requiera, incluyendo recopilación y análisis de datos moderados a complejos.
  • Establecer y mantener medidas de control interno, incluyendo políticas y procedimientos departamentales. Documentar nuevos procesos según sea necesario.
  • Preparar resúmenes en un formato ejecutivo para resaltar disposiciones significativas de la solicitud, el impacto en la fijación de precios y consideraciones generales del negocio relevantes para el desarrollo de casos de negocio/fijación de precios.
  • Realizar un control de calidad completo sobre cálculos y análisis antes de la presentación para revisión de la unidad de negocio.
  • Revisar NetSuite para identificar y resolver cualquier inexactitud o desequilibrio.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de regulaciones gubernamentales, normas contables y GAAP. Esto incluye comunicar cualquier problema contable y la evolución de la normativa contable al equipo de gestión.
  • Actuar como enlace con el Controlador y auditores externos sobre estados financieros y problemas contables para asegurar el acuerdo con las decisiones de la Compañía sobre divulgaciones contables y problemas.
  • Colaborar estrechamente con el Controlador para impulsar la alineación de políticas contables, calidad de informes y puntualidad.
  • Asegurar un cierre de período preciso y oportuno, incluyendo la preparación de asientos contables, análisis detallados de programas y varios informes requeridos.
  • Participar en proyectos según sea necesario, que pueden incluir la implementación de procesos comerciales para nuevos contratos u oportunidades comerciales, y/o preparar informes internos para decisiones de gestión.
  • Asistir con proyectos entre el propietario y la empresa según sea necesario.
  • Desarrollar y mantener el reconocimiento de ingresos en contratos nuevos o actuales.
  • Realizar conciliaciones y análisis de cuentas diversas utilizando herramientas como el Sistema ERP NetSuite y Excel.
  • Realizar otras tareas relacionadas con el puesto según lo especificado por la dirección.
  • Apoyar el compromiso con la seguridad y otros estándares y certificaciones seleccionados de la empresa.

Educación y Experiencia:

  • Título universitario de una institución acreditada en contabilidad requerido con 5-7 años de experiencia.
  • CPA preferido.
  • Se requiere experiencia en contabilidad pública.

Habilidades Técnicas y Competencias Requeridas:

  • Fuertes habilidades analíticas.
  • Demostradas habilidades fuertes a superiores en el uso de Microsoft Excel y Word.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente y priorizar; debe estar orientado a objetivos.
  • Fuertes habilidades de comunicación escrita y oral.
  • Conocimiento sólido de GAAP y regulaciones.
  • Comprensión del análisis de datos y pronósticos.
  • Atención al detalle y capacidad de resolución de problemas.
