Key Responsibilities- Greet clients in a polite and prompt manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist clients by answering their questions and helping with their requests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Accurately complete the registration process, enter patient information in the RIS, and verify discrepancies in patient information with patients, clinics or insurance companies as needed.
- Review or complete exam questionnaires with patient as required, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
- Scan appropriate information to patient chart in RIS, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Check in/out patients, collect payments, and fill out paperwork, ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly.
- Anticipate and provide assistance to accommodate patients having difficulty ambulating and completing forms, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Create detailed notes in patient chart in RIS documenting pertinent information, maintaining a clear and concise record of patient interactions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience (1 year preferred).
- Medical terminology (1 year preferred).
- Computer skills (1 year preferred).
- Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively, and take ownership of customer needs.
- Communication: Speak and write clearly, concisely, and to the point, and ensure important information is communicated promptly and accurately.
- Commitment: Demonstrate initiative, perseverance, and a commitment to completing daily assignments.
- Flexibility: Adapt quickly to new techniques and work methods, and handle multiple priorities successfully.
- Problem-Solving: Recognize and communicate problems to the right person/system, and offer constructive ideas/suggestions for solving problems.
- Team Player: Collaborate effectively with people at all levels, share new information, and show flexibility and adaptability.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence. Must speak Korean or Chinese.
Computer SkillsKnowledge of word processing software, internet software, RIS, and PACS.
