Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Access: Verify patient information, obtain necessary authorizations, and ensure accurate and timely completion of healthcare and insurance forms.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to alleviate confusion and expedite processes.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general clerical tasks, including answering phones, greeting patients, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality of patient protected health information (PHI) and adhere to all organizational, local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience: 1 year of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and no weekend requirements. The pay range for this role is $29.46 to $36.81 per hour.
