Alpha Warranty Services, Inc. is a veteran-owned organization established in 2002, recognized nationally for its excellence in providing Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC). As a Customer Care Advocate in our Claims department, you will serve as a vital support system for our clients throughout the vehicle repair claims process.
Your role involves engaging with customers via phone, email, and chat to clarify their service contract benefits and claim status, while meticulously documenting each interaction in our system. Every communication is an opportunity to empower our clients with the necessary information.
While automotive knowledge is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and understand the vehicle repair process is beneficial. Our Claims team, comprised of ASE certified mechanics, collaborates directly with repair facilities to assess and determine the validity of customer claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as Sales, to address and resolve customer inquiries.
- Utilize effective problem-solving skills and available resources to assist in the claims process.
- Offer innovative solutions to complex issues whenever feasible.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience is essential.
- Experience in a call center environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly valued and compensated accordingly.
- Interest or experience in vehicle repair is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in navigating technology, including computers and various software applications.
- Typing speed of at least 30+ WPM with accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively, solve problems, and pay attention to detail.
- Adaptability to change and eagerness to embrace new opportunities as the company evolves.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
