Business Development Manager, Facades

About the Role:
The Business Development Manager, Facades is responsible for driving sales and marketing activities for Saint-Gobain ADFORS Facades – FibaLath products. This role involves new and incremental sales, as well as management and development of Facades – FibaLath markets under the general direction of the National Sales Manager (Facades, Roofing, & Wall Finishing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers and company personnel as needed.
- Participate in the formulation of marketing policies, budgeting, sales forecasting, goals, and action plans, and their implementation.
- Establish a sales and marketing strategy for the Facades – FibaLath market.
- Communicate regularly with the National Sales Manager (Facades, Roofing & Wall Finishing) to ensure a constant flow of information about market happenings.
- Use planning and organizational skills to arrange a time schedule that ensures the best return on investment.
- Maintain up-to-date records and demonstrate expertise in handling and following through on customer complaints.
- Travel is a requirement for this role.
- Maximize the total sales potential of major accounts and maintain a desirable call level on customers and other personnel.
Requirements:
- A proven track record of building, managing, and closing opportunities focusing on selling products related to reinforcement of Facades.
- Identifying, pursuing, and closing new prospects.
- Conducting regular revenue and forecasting for developed accounts.
- Resolving customer issues and cultivating relationships.
- Preparing and presenting formal proposals.
- Executing preplanned and organized sales calls.
- Preparing a yearly business review with the National Sales Manager (Facades, Roofing, & Wall Finishing) for presentation to the Director of Sales and/or National Sales Manager, Construction Products.
- Communicating to management the implementation, control, and performance of marketing plans and actions.
- Remaining alert for competitive pricing, products, and programs.
- Continuing to update knowledge of products, applications, and market conditions.
- Conducting price maintenance, contract, and payment term compliance reviews.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of work-related skill and experience in Construction Product Sales is required.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position, which is $87,500 to $135,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 30% of base salary based on individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $113,700-TTC to $176,100-TTC.
Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
