Business Development Manager


Job Description:

The role of Business Development Manager at Arrow Electronics involves identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new opportunities within the OEM Compute Integration Business. This position requires a motivated and goal-oriented individual to contribute to the growth and expansion of the business.

The candidate will work closely with Arrow Electronics resources and adjacent Arrow team members to develop an effective go-to-market strategy, gain in-depth knowledge of the business and industry, and create tailored value propositions for potential customers.

Candidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and create relationships between the organization and suppliers, customers, and/or vendors within the business group's specific technologies.
  • Implement business development initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence, evaluate, develop, and manage market-specific sales strategies and new strategic business opportunities.
  • Ensure execution to sales growth plans, drive results through demand identification and demand creation opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development sales strategy.
  • Generate and maintain a strong list of customer acquisition targets.
  • Evaluate and qualify leads and opportunities.
  • Establish and manage a well-maintained sales pipeline.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle of opportunities, ensuring successful closures.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years in a Business Development or related role.
  • Sales experience within the tech industry.
  • Proven effective relationship management skills.
  • Polished presentation skills.
  • Superior adaptability capabilities.
  • High level of productivity and self-drive in a dynamic start-up environment.


Work Arrangement:

Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership. Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$147, $258,237.45

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
