Job Description

As a Business Management Specialist at TD Bank Group, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of business management activities for complex or high-risk functional areas. Your primary responsibility will be to implement policies, processes, and initiatives to meet business management, strategy, and governance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Business Operations: Oversee and manage business operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to support the overall business strategy, contributing to the strategic direction of the business management function.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, providing direction and input to complex, wide-ranging enterprise or cross-functional/business projects/initiatives.
  • Provide Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge, facilitating key discussions and providing strategic plans and deliverables.
  • Manage Risk and Governance: Maintain a culture of risk management and control, ensuring business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • End-to-End Governance: Experience with end-to-end subcommittee/committee governance quality and processes
  • Annual Governance Planning: Development and execution of annual governance planning and calendar
  • Agenda Management: Agenda management, deck preparation, and material management
  • Meeting Minutes: Recording of meeting minutes
  • Tracking and Reporting: Identification, logging, tracking, and reporting of subcommittee/committee effective challenge and action assignments
Physical Requirements

Domestic travel is occasional, while international travel is not required. The role involves performing sedentary work, operating standard office equipment, and responding quickly to sounds.
