Product Expert - Architectural Interiors

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive sales growth and market share within the architectural interiors industry. As a Product Expert for Architectural Interiors at Teknion, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business partnerships with key stakeholders, developing and executing a territorial business plan, and providing technical expertise to sales teams and distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Establish and maintain business partnerships with distribution partners, end-users, and architects/design firms to drive sales growth and market share.
  • Territorial Business Plan: Develop and execute a territorial business plan to increase Teknion's Architectural Interior volume and market share.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise to sales teams, distribution partners, and Teknion employees on Teknion's Architectural Interior portfolio.
  • Account Management: Support distribution partners with sales efforts, product training, marketing materials, and product positioning.
  • Targeted Account Plans: Develop and execute targeted account plans and programs for major clients/prospects across all channels and market segments.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed mutually agreed upon territorial revenue goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a complete and thorough knowledge of all Teknion Architectural products and competitive offerings.
  • Application-Specific Solutions: Serve as an Architectural Interiors expert, guiding the sales process and developing application-specific solutions.
  • Account Support: Support distribution partners with respect to sales efforts, product training, marketing materials, and product positioning.
  • Territorial Business Plan: Develop and execute a territorial business plan incorporating annual goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years' experience in Architectural Interiors, Interior Architecture, Design, and/or construction industries with a successful sales track record.
  • Project Management: Project management experience a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work efficiently and independently, with a relentless drive to fuel product line sales and profitability.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and utilize Teknion systems and other technologies.
