Job Overview

At Nautique Boat Company, we uphold the highest standards of quality for every vessel that departs our facility. This role is pivotal in supporting our production team by identifying challenges and collaborating with management to maintain exceptional quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Ensure adherence to all quality assurance protocols established by the company throughout each stage of production.

2. Validate incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement assessments, and rejecting substandard materials.

3. Oversee in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement evaluations, and relaying necessary adjustments to the production supervisor.

4. Assess finished products by validating specifications; executing visual and measurement tests; returning items for rework; and confirming the completion of rework.

5. Record inspection outcomes by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and entering data into a quality management system.

6. Maintain measurement equipment functionality by adhering to operational guidelines and requesting repairs as required.

7. Foster a safe and healthy workplace by following established standards, procedures, and legal regulations.

8. Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational programs and reviewing technical literature.

9. Support quality and organizational objectives by fulfilling related tasks as necessary.

10. Uphold quality protocols and document corrective actions when necessary.

11. Educate the production team on quality control matters and collaborate with department leaders to enhance overall safety and product quality.

12. Conduct product/process analysis aimed at quality enhancement.

13. Represent manufacturing in cross-functional teams.

14. Complete all assigned tasks diligently, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

15. Follow directives from designated leadership.

16. Perform any additional duties as directed by management.

17. Adhere to all OSHA and safety regulations.
