JOB SUMMARY:

Coordinates the procurement for parts, tools, and materials for the Quality Control Department. Coordinator is responsible for coordinating technical functions as well as interfacing with team members and customers, writing Job Plans, reviewing DCN's, and uploading all Ride and Show job plans for Technical Services. Tracking all aspects for various assigned projects. Augments QC inspections as required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in reviewing format and content of all UO Technical Services Ride & Show DCN's and Job plans, prior to upload. Aids in scheduling all QC inspections.
  • Responsible for producing scopes of work for routine, entering EAR's, Maximo spreadsheets and queries, tracking all action items and ensuring all issues are resolved. Tracks documentation including Job Plans, QC reports, QC backlog, ECNs, DCNs, temporary deviations, and bulletins (operation and maintenance) for the department. Develops contracts for routine with included schedule and budget details. Receives services and products as well as facilitates payment by providing AP with necessary documentation for timely payment of invoiced milestones/lump sums. Works closely with Engineers and Vendors writing and executing project contracts, tracking the status of projects communications and schedules. Determines, writes and reviews preventative maintenance (PM) procedures, ensures procedures are entered into the system, and tracks and follows up on compliance by Tech Services.
  • Provides detailed scope of work, written procedures, budget, and estimated time, material and resources needed to successfully complete capital projects. Tracks all action items and ensures resources are assigned through completion of the projects, coordinating and scheduling work flow of projects. Tracks Engineer's time on these projects. Ensures all issues are resolved.
  • Provides tracking of all correspondence between customers, vendors and project team to provide back-up documentation. Disseminates/updates related information from/to the project team members through meetings, training and distributed documents to manage the process. Interfaces with Ride and Show, Document Control, Central Shops, Legal, Planned Work, Quality Control, Accounts Payable, Capital Finance, Operational Finance, Purchasing, Information Technology, and Vendors.
  • Procures necessary products and services for projects and work processes utilizing assigned company credit card (P-card). Creates purchase requests in MAXIMO, Purchase Manager, and ProcureIt. Implements and draws upon blanket purchase orders. Purchases and maintains accurate inventories of company tools, software (all licenses, such as AutoCAD, TechConnect, RISA-3D, Product Design Suite, etc.), and hardware brought and/or assigned to his/her department. Maintains inventory of appropriate parts and ensures obsolescence requirements are met via tracking and notification. Assures proper safety equipment, tools, and procedures are available. Coordinates calibration requirements on all precision equipment and assures other support equipment is readily available.
  • Performs miscellaneous administrative duties such as generating documents and displaying information for executive presentations (PowerPoint), charting ride's downtimes for reliability analysis, generating and reviewing PMs, tracking compliance reports, and gathering other information as needed for management.
  • Completes assigned technical writing functions, generates and maintains official departmental documentation forms, including Dispos, ECN's, DCN's, Bulletins, logs, etc. and assists others with them, as needed. Writes and reviews work procedures in accordance with OEM manuals, UO Engineering, QC, OSHA, ASTM, and Standard Amusement Park Practices. Provides updates and changes to SharePoint.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. SCOPE:

To perform this job successfully, this individual must support QC's activities, projects, and purchases by developing schedules, job plans, charts, procedures, and presentations. Assist in reviewing and uploading all DCN job plans. This individual must have highly developed organizational and computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and basic knowledge of all R/S attraction equipment and to be able to interface across Technical Services and other departments

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Technical school, Associate's degree, and/or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years' experience in theme park and/or ride and show-type technical-related environment required;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Required: Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Preferred: AWS CWI, ASNT VT Level I, ASNT MT Level I, ASNT PT level I ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

To perform this job successfully, this individual should have a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical/control systems. This individual must be able to develop a working knowledge and be able to work in and around all the Rides and Shows.
