Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Bigham Cable Construction. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our services and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select audits by working with operations supervisors, managers, and Field Check partners to prevent potential damages.
  • Perform field audits for accuracy of marks and compliance with applicable state laws, regulations, and contractual obligations per clients.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on quality failures.
  • Complete all applicable forms and documents required for the auditing and investigation processes, and communicate audits and investigation findings with quality assurance and operations management.
  • Correct field risk findings and coach/mentor technicians.
  • Perform quality assurance ride-along with field technician upon Operations Manager request.
  • Provide frequent and ongoing feedback to Field Check partner to improve quality results and reduce damages.
  • Provide witness testimony in small claims and litigated cases when necessary.
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of locating experience and/or equivalent.
  • Ability to troubleshoot difficult locates and proficiently interpret all utility plats.
  • Proficiency in using different locating equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
  • 5 years of more years of investigation experience.
