Job Overview

Targeted Talent is seeking a highly skilled Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Development: Establish and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential customers.
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs, and provide solutions that meet those needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly sales goals, including identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring ongoing communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Forecasting: Provide periodic territory sales forecasts to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least two to five years of related experience required, with a minimum of two years in sales to restaurant holding companies, consumer foodservice companies, or related industries.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent sales and negotiation skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field preferred.
