About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Loan Specialist to join our team at AgSouth Farm Credit. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for marketing and originating home loans, as well as determining the most suitable mortgage product for each customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a marketing plan aligned with our association's goals, promoting sales to prospective customers and influencing key stakeholders to build business and expand market penetration.
  • Collaborate with real estate agents, contractors, builders, financial planners, and other professionals to attract new clients and understand complex financial documents.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as AgSouth policy and procedures, to guarantee sound and complete mortgage loan application packages.
Requirements
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of computers and mortgage lending software, as well as an understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and mortgage lending rules.
  • Ability to travel within the territory to carry out essential responsibilities.
