We are seeking a highly skilled Home Loan Originator to join our team at AgSouth Farm Credit. As a key member of our lending team, you will be responsible for marketing and originating home loans, as well as determining the most suitable mortgage product for each customer.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a marketing plan aligned with our association's goals, promoting sales to prospective customers and influencing key stakeholders to build business and expand market penetration.
- Collaborate with real estate agents, contractors, builders, financial planners, and other professionals to attract new clients and understand complex financial documents.
- Ensure sound, compliant, and complete mortgage loan application packages, adhering to federal and state regulations, as well as AgSouth policy and procedures.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
- 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of computers and mortgage lending software.
- Understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and mortgage lending rules.
- Ability to travel within the territory to carry out essential responsibilities.
