Technical Assistance Coordinator - Townsquare Interactive

The Technical Assistance Role:
As an integral part of our Internal IT Team, you will collaborate with our HR/Recruiting department to meet all employee equipment needs. Your duties will include setting up new accounts, conducting tailored equipment training sessions, managing equipment returns from departing employees, and efficiently overseeing an IT ticketing system to resolve employee IT support inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with HR/Recruiting Department and other IT Team members to address software and equipment requirements
  • Install, operate, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Set up, maintain, and update personal computers, servers, printers, and software
  • Install and maintain LAN systems
  • Ensure adherence to all Company Engineering and Information Technology protocols
  • Be available for after-hours and weekend work as needed
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (all versions)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence
  • Effective communication skills for addressing groups of customers or employees
  • Aptitude for solving practical problems and handling various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Strong attention to detail necessary for tasks including data preparation and analysis, transcription, computer terminal viewing, extensive reading, and visual inspection for small defects
  • BA/BS degree (Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred)
