This position involves addressing incidents that have been escalated from initial IT support on the service desk and managing application-specific service requests. The individual will be tasked with diagnosing issues and either resolving them or overseeing their resolution within established service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhances the knowledge base to streamline future resolutions of recurring issues.
  • Keeps all relevant parties informed of any emerging issues in a clear and timely manner.
  • Investigates, diagnoses, and resolves application-related problems while fulfilling service requests for both standard and custom offerings.
  • Organizes workload to align with priorities and minimize disruption to business operations.
  • Ensures security and functionality through the implementation of temporary fixes and workarounds.
  • Handles after-hours data modifications on production systems.
  • Performs additional job-related tasks as required or evident.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management practices and tools.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise-level applications in a virtual support setting.
  • Knowledge of problem identification techniques.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting technology systems.
  • Ability to write SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

This is a long-term contract position that can be performed remotely. Ideal candidates would be located in the Pacific, Mountain, or Eastern time zones.

The anticipated pay range is $20-25 per hour.
