The selected candidate will address incidents that have been escalated from the initial IT support on the service desk and will handle application-specific service requests. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues and either resolving them or overseeing their resolution within established service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhances the knowledge base to streamline future resolutions of recurring issues.
  • Communicates promptly with relevant stakeholders regarding any emerging issues.
  • Conducts investigations, diagnoses, and resolves application-related problems while fulfilling service requests for both standard and customized offerings.
  • Organizes work to align with priorities and reduce business interruptions.
  • Ensures security and functionality through the implementation of temporary fixes and workarounds.
  • Handles after-hours data modifications on production systems.
  • Performs additional job-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management practices and tools.
  • Experience in supporting enterprise-level applications in a virtual support environment.
  • Understanding of techniques for problem identification.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting technology systems.
  • Ability to write SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.

This is a long-term contract position that can be performed remotely. The ideal pay range is $20-25 per hour.
