Overview:

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will utilize your management expertise to mentor, train, and lead your team in achieving excellence in their responsibilities while adhering to our stringent quality benchmarks.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will act as their key support and oversee daily operations in their absence.

Your contributions will significantly enhance overall store performance by exemplifying best practices in account management, marketing, and compliance, all while delivering an exceptional customer experience in our dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:
Guide, mentor, and oversee store personnel to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies.

Evaluate financial transaction risks, accurately process loan/pawn applications, check cashing transactions, and related products.

Foster customer relationships and execute inbound and outbound call campaigns daily to generate new business, sustain store profitability, and enhance brand loyalty and recognition.

Uphold office security measures and perform proper opening and closing procedures, including managing the vault and cash drawer.

Supervise account management and recovery processes while prioritizing customer service to mitigate losses and charge-off accounts, including collection communications.

Ensure a work environment that complies with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Conduct store audits, generate reports, and compile financial data to ensure staff compliance.

Monitor and maintain both internal and external store appearance and cleanliness, addressing basic facility needs and coordinating maintenance services.

Assist in managing the store and daily operations in the absence of the General Manager.

Operate efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment, managing multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.

Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week.

Minimum one year of key holder, supervisory, and/or management experience in retail, convenience store, grocery, financial, or service industry
Proficiency in phone systems, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other relevant systems
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check required (certain state and local applicant exemptions may apply)

Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about freely inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.


Leadership experience in a sales or customer service-oriented role
Background in retail, sales, or financial industry
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
