Facilities Maintenance Specialist Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
  • Hourly Wage: $26.00
  • Full-Time Employment Available
  • Weekend Availability Required
  • Multiple Shifts Offered (Sunday to Saturday)

Job Overview: This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery essential to the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
  • Repair various components including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and cylinders.
  • Address issues with brake, clutch, and tension control systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems operating at 24VDC, 120VAC, 240VAC, and 480VAC, including basic ladder logic and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Operate and maintain process boilers, plant air compressors, and fire safety systems.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, engineers, and operators to prioritize and complete work orders, while assisting in identifying root causes of equipment failures.
  • Ensure maintenance areas comply with 6S, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE), and Quality standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and accurately check out parts from the storeroom.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience with machining and fabrication, including operation of lathes, milling machines, drill presses, pipe threaders, and band saws.
  • Proficiency with cutting torches and welding techniques (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW).
  • Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.
  • Ability to replace or repair motors, AC/DC drives, and control circuits.
  • Experience with advanced PLC and HMI control systems (Allen Bradley and Siemens).
  • Conduct equipment calibrations in accordance with ISO standards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical school certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred.

Rotation Details: 5 days on, 2 days off.

Qualifications:
