Chief Buildings is on the lookout for a Technical Sales Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role is pivotal in conveying intricate technical concepts to clients and customers, emphasizing how our products can effectively address unique challenges and fulfill stakeholder requirements. Many successful individuals in this position have advanced to various roles within Chief, including Project Manager, Estimating Manager, Project Designer, Design Engineer, Buyer, Marketing Manager, Inside Sales Manager, Technical Services Manager, District Sales Manager, and even President.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the sales team to grasp customer needs, promote the sale of company offerings, and provide essential sales support.
  • Engage with engineering teams on design strategies during the quoting phase.
  • Prepare and present technical demonstrations that elucidate our products and services.
  • Manage component sales effectively.
  • Conduct educational builder sessions.
  • Examine specifications and outline expectations.
  • Develop models for sales presentations.
  • Review contract documents to mitigate risks.
  • Participate in relevant committees and initiatives.
  • Supervise the Construction Management internship program.
  • Enhance professional and technical expertise by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building professional networks, and engaging in professional organizations.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Metal Building is essential, along with proficiency in MBS Design Software.
