About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Center Teacher to join our team at Golden Heart Child Care Center in North Mankato, MN. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for infants and toddlers, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement daily activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Collaborate with the coordinator to develop and maintain a comprehensive program that meets the educational and physical needs of each child.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents through regular communication and conferences, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy environment by observing and reporting any equipment or facility issues.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

Requirements:

  • Credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications.
  • Minimum two-year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds and maintain a physically active environment.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with the team to achieve program goals and objectives.
