Our comprehensive services span the full continuum of care, from hospitalization to outpatient treatment, and are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and medical problems.
  • Lead interdisciplinary teams in supporting PrairieCare's treatment programs and philosophy.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality treatment to patients and their families, consistent with Medical Staff privileges granted.
  • Provide individual and family therapy, as well as conduct follow-up resource services.
Qualifications
  • Licensed by the State of Minnesota to practice medicine.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Able to maintain required medical staff privileges and malpractice insurance.
  • Knowledgeable about adult, adolescent, and child psychiatric disorders, and advanced principles of abnormal psychology.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients and families.
