About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Center Infant Teacher to join our team at Golden Heart Child Care Center in North Mankato, MN. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, while also supporting the growth and development of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing daily programs that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in infants and toddlers.
  • Meet the educational and physical needs of each child, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with the coordinator to maintain a safe and healthy environment, observing and reporting any concerns.
  • Communicate with parents through conferences and regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Observe, record, and report individual child behavior as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Credits to meet MN DHS Assistant Teacher qualifications.
  • Minimum two-year degree that meets Department of Human Services qualifications.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds and maintain a physically active environment.
