Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating individuals with psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders, and medical problems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the interdisciplinary team in supporting PrairieCare's treatment programs and philosophy
  • Ensure the delivery of quality treatment to adults, adolescents, children, psychiatric, and substance use disorder patients, and their families
  • Provide individual and family therapy, as well as conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment
Qualifications
  • License to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota
  • Completion of an accredited Postgraduate Training Residency
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Ability to maintain required medical staff privileges and malpractice insurance
  • Knowledge of adult, adolescent, and child psychiatric disorders, and advanced principles of abnormal psychology
