In the position of Water Resources Engineering Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with project engineers to apply various design engineering and modeling techniques for water resource initiatives across federal, state, and local municipalities.

• Developing comprehensive designs for water and wastewater treatment systems, as well as collection systems, under the guidance of the Project Engineer.

• Engaging in projects that may encompass flood control, river design, stream grade control structures, levees, and wetland restoration.

• Preparing detailed plans for water and wastewater systems, drafting specifications, and conducting analyses and reports related to treatment distribution and collection systems.

• Supporting projects during the construction phase, which includes reviewing submissions, clarifying designs, and providing construction management services.

• Assisting Senior Engineers with engineering studies, design tasks, contract documentation, technical report writing, and graphic presentations.

• Performing site layout and calculations as required.

• Executing routine engineering assignments that necessitate the application of standard techniques and procedures.

• Completing projects with clearly defined objectives and limited variables.

• Handling administrative responsibilities associated with project management for civil and treatment projects.

• Working independently on smaller projects or providing support to senior engineers on larger initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Candidates without their EIT will be considered for a Design Coordinator role with the expectation of obtaining their EIT for career advancement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Interest or experience in designing water and wastewater treatment facilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
