About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Director to lead our Product Development team in Irvine, California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge RF technologies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: Lead multiple module designs in development for major customers, serving as the customer interface and ensuring program development stays on track with leading performance.
  • Architecture and Design: Conduct detailed architecture, floor planning, cost estimation, schedule estimation, specification negotiation, resource estimation, and risk assessment for new product development programs.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and track resources to identify when additional projects can be initiated and understand the capabilities and limitations of available resources.
  • Design Methodology: Drive design methodology improvements, adherence to best practices, and overall compliance with the Product Realisation Process.
  • Team Management: Ensure new team members are properly trained and mentored, and that all team members reach their full potential.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product leads to ensure they have the necessary resources to meet critical goals, setting appropriate priorities when resource conflicts occur.
  • Talent Acquisition: Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding top-notch talent.
  • Progress Updates: Provide regular updates to Senior Management on progress towards meeting goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Facilitate and lead detailed technical discussions with customers to define architectures, drive rapid feasibility studies, and support system studies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • Experience: Relevant technical and leadership experience.
  • Skills: Excellent presentation skills, strong data analysis skills, experience in Front End or Module level development, experience leading multidisciplinary teams and working across boundaries, experience in team management.
