Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and finalize engineering construction documents for both residential and commercial/industrial projects.
  • Design and prepare grading plans, drainage systems (including hydrology/hydraulics and water quality), street enhancements, sewer and water system improvements, construction exhibits, plan & profile, tentative maps, and more.
  • Oversee construction management, assist with scheduling, and perform cost estimation.
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Managers and Design Teams.
  • Conduct various field tasks, including site assessments and meetings.
  • Foster and maintain long-term client relationships, develop proposals, and manage time/budgets and schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (knowledge of land surveying is advantageous).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2017 or newer, Civil 3D, AES, or similar Hydrology/Hydraulic software, WaterCAD, HydroCAD, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Understanding of the overall development process and experience with various governing agencies and utility providers.
