DePaul is seeking a dedicated full-time Client Intake Coordinator. This role operates under the guidance of the Intake Director, facilitating the processing of referrals for potential placements across all licensed housing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director in generating agency referrals through public outreach efforts such as presentations, mail campaigns, and community engagement.
Conduct and/or coordinate specific referrals for pre-intake evaluations, site tours (as necessary), and introductory visits.
Ensure transportation arrangements are made for site visits during the screening and/or move-in phases.
Act as an agency representative in various Single Point of Entry County meetings as directed by the Director.
Participate in weekly Risk Management meetings as needed to review potential referrals and stay informed about individual housing plans.
Employ person-centered practices and insights gathered during the assessment to recommend appropriate placements.
Uphold resident confidentiality and demonstrate a compassionate and positive demeanor towards all residents, family members, staff, and service providers.
Collaborate closely with the Director to track the status of referrals, manage the waiting list, and oversee potential resident transitions within the agency.
Serve on various committees both within and outside the agency to foster teamwork and community engagement.
Work alongside the Director to ensure timely written dispositions are submitted for all referral applications.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related Human Services field is required, along with one year of experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities (preferably in a residential context) or an Associate's degree in a Human Services field with two years of experience in a similar role.
Additional Requirements:
A valid NYS driver's license is required as per DePaul's clean driving record policy. The use of a personal vehicle is also necessary.
