Role Description

The Public Sector sales team is designed for individuals who are self-motivated and excel in fast-paced settings. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing strategic relationships with ITsavvy clients, utilizing your expertise to broaden our reach within the K12 sector. This position allows you to make a direct contribution to one of the fastest-growing companies in the Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients daily through outbound communication.
  • Establish long-term relationships with clients, including onsite visits as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Sales Director to formulate a sales strategy and set ambitious targets.
  • Work alongside dedicated Sales Support teams to address client service inquiries, returns, and collections.
  • Assist in designing and delivering advanced solutions to clients through our in-house Advanced Solutions Group.
  • Enhance your understanding of IT software, hardware, and managed services to share with potential clients.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction for ITsavvy customers.
  • Promote ITsavvy as a leading provider of IT solutions.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a VAR/Reseller environment.
  • Tenacity and creativity are essential for expanding our Public Sector business.
  • A High School Diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and diligence.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 Manufacturers.
