Position Overview

As the Technical Support Manager, you will oversee the technical support functions, ensuring the effective resolution of technical challenges and driving product innovation and quality assurance. Your key responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

  • Planning annual new product initiatives and allocating technical resources to maintain product line integrity across regions.
  • Managing the development timeline of new products, ensuring timely delivery and conversion rates meet company standards.
  • Conducting market assessments, benchmarking products, identifying issues, and enhancing product design to boost sales.
  • Handling after-sales service complaints, implementing quality control measures, and communicating quality expectations to relevant teams.
  • Overseeing spare parts management and supporting the development of the spare parts market.
  • Ensuring prototype quality control, maintaining high sample qualification rates, and improving prototype conversion rates.
  • Coordinating IT projects within the Technical Support Department.

Qualifications:

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical support, product development, or similar roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a technical support team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of product development processes and quality assurance practices in the HVAC sector.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the US for client meetings and industry events, with potential travel up to 70%.
  • Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales-related applications.
