We are seeking a talented Over-The-Air (OTA) Software Validation Specialist to enhance our vibrant infotainment division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assessing, validating, and managing OTA software updates for vehicles in the North American sector. As an OTA Software Validation Specialist, your expertise will be vital in ensuring seamless vehicle software updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in various engineering initiatives related to OTA systems, guaranteeing the provision of dependable and effective software updates for production vehicles in North America.
  • Execute pre-production OTA assessments, post-production update validations, field monitoring, and troubleshooting to uphold exceptional quality standards.
  • Diagnose underlying issues, develop practical solutions, and collaborate with headquarters for successful implementation and rollout.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in automotive or embedded product development.
  • Proficiency in Testing and Software Development for vehicle Electric & Electronic systems, telematics systems, controller units, or similar products.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automotive Software Requirements Specifications for in-vehicle network management or OTA system software.
  • Familiarity with automotive telematics systems, server architecture, and cloud services.
  • Experience in automotive telematics data analytics.
  • Knowledge of the production software lifecycle, including requirements, system design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for vehicle systems.
  • Understanding of classic and adaptive AUTOSAR.
  • Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, C, and C++.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps-CI/CD methodologies and tools.
