We are currently seeking a Service Associate to support our Bonds Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in a variety of complex policy administration activities in alignment with established production and quality standards. Responsibilities may encompass:
  • Interpreting instructions from agents, underwriters, and clients to ascertain requirements for quotes, issuances, renewals, endorsements, etc.
  • Calculating premiums for quotes, issuances, renewals, audits, endorsements, and cancellations/reinstatements according to appropriate rate selection, rules, and company protocols.
  • Inputting rate, premium, and policy data into relevant systems for updates and issuance.
  • Ensuring file accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing and updating reports (e.g., loss reports, financial statements) and legal notices (e.g., cancellation notices, non-renewal notifications).
  • Setting up and clearing submissions.
  • Investigating and resolving errors or issues.
  • Compiling and issuing policy documents and endorsements along with associated paperwork.
  • Researching and reconciling premium and billing discrepancies, addressing inquiries related to premium and billing.
  • Utilizing computerized systems for research, tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicating complex information professionally via various channels to underwriters, agents, brokers, and clients.
  • Participating in departmental projects, including enhancements to forms and systems, user acceptance testing, and assessing impacts on current policies.
  • Acting as a liaison with branch offices to facilitate interdepartmental communication.
  • Performing additional tasks such as support functions, data entry, and training for junior staff.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of departmental policies and procedures while adhering to company and regulatory standards.
  • As applicable, approving new business, renewals, and endorsements based on established guidelines.
  • Executing other duties as assigned.
