About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Section Leader to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a group of multi-disciplinary system engineers and ensuring that each employee has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day management of a group of multi-disciplinary system engineers
  • Ensure that each employee has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and advancement
  • Manage performance development and appraisal, salary planning, manpower planning, career coaching, and adherence to company policies
  • Contribute to the technical oversight of employees, monitor program execution, and provide radar system subject matter expertise in direct support of program efforts and proposal activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in empowering employees, leading and motivating teams, and fostering collaboration
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
