We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal level electrical engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Electrical Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of FPGA-based designs for control and/or signal processing radar applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide development support throughout the product lifecycle, from initial concept to acceptance delivery to maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams to ensure product success.
- Design and deliver production-quality FPGA releases from initial proof of concept up to production.
- Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS).
- Translate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead small teams.
- Support occasional domestic travel and potential international travel.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Existing security clearance.
