Key Responsibilities- Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
- Radar processing algorithm development
- Radar software requirements development
- Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
- Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
- Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
- Presentation of findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
- Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
- Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
- Design experience in the following radar system areas; antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
- Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
- Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
- Masters/PhD in a STEM field
- Systems Engineering experience on DoD systems

The salary range for this role is $118,000 USD - $246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
