Job Overview
The Administrative Support Associate II plays a crucial role in delivering a broad range of administrative assistance.

This position demands exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, both in person and over the phone, as it involves regular interaction with colleagues, supervisors, and the public.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, document preparation, data entry, notarization, and managing mail distribution.

- Provide outstanding customer service by responding to phone inquiries, assisting walk-in clients, and conducting research to furnish information to the public and various law enforcement entities.

- Ensure the prompt and precise entry of county warrants into the records management system.
- Maintain and update the GCIC/NCIC system.
- Keep accurate paper and electronic logs, forms, files, and other essential documents.
- Aid in safeguarding the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Operate a computer and relevant software proficiently.
- Communicate and exchange information effectively.
- Learn and apply relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
Additional Information
This position requires a public safety background check, which includes motor vehicle records, criminal history, credit evaluation, and fingerprinting.
This role may involve on-call duties and emergency response during off-hours, weekends, and holidays.
Grade
The grade for this position is B21(1).

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of two years of experience in administrative support or a related office environment.

An equivalent combination of education and experience that effectively meets the essential duties of the position will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Notary Public certification.
- GCIC/NCIC certification to be obtained within six months of employment.
