Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Event Catering Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that all catering functions are executed flawlessly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage catering staff schedules to guarantee timely delivery, service, and cleanup of all events.
- Prepare and serve food at scheduled events under the guidance of the Catering Director.
- Deliver food and beverages to various locations as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Assess workload requirements based on catering orders.
- Engage with event leaders to finalize setup arrangements and address any last-minute adjustments.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests and resolving any complaints.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu items and assist staff in understanding work expectations.
- Oversee the setup of event spaces to meet specified requirements.
- Ensure proper presentation and temperature maintenance of food items, adhering to HACCP standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all catering equipment and supplies.
Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license may be necessary.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit as required by state law.
